The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry,
Murtala Mohammed, has alleged that a Member of Parliament (MP) and
Minister of State hired a lady to take nude pictures of a colleague
Cabinet Minister.
According to Mr Mohammed, who is also the MP for
Nantong, the said MP equipped the lady with a tablet and a mobile phone
to carry out the task.
On his Facebook, Mr Mohammed questioned why the MP would want to sabotage the cabinet minister.
“I ask those sycophantic elements to ask the said
MP whether it is ethical to buy a tablet and a mobile phone for a lady
friend of a colleague cabinet Minister to get n’*de pictures of that
colleague of his.

Available whatsapp messages, text messages and
audio. Those sycophants have no idea where they are dragging him to.
They should not push me,” he said.
Graphic Online could not independently verify Mr
Mohammed’s claims. Early on in an interview with Tamale based Diamond
FM, Mr Mohammed accused an MP of trying to use unfair means to unseat
him as MP for Nantong.
Though he declined to name the said MP, he said
he possessed three recorded tapes of a meeting between the said MP and
some of the NDC Nantong constituency executives. Mr Mohammed described
the alleged plot as pathetic, unethical and ‘unIslamic’.
