These worshipers went extreme at the Hindu festival in Malaysia -to show their devotion by piercing their cheeks with spears and put hooks through their skins. More than a million Hindus in Malaysia celebrated the colourful Thaipusam festival today by gathering at a temple in an offering to the deity Murug. See more pics below;
