The Niger State Deputy Governor, Hon. Ahmed Musa Ibeto, has dumped his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, for the All Progressives Congress.
Ibeto was one of the aspirants for the PDP governorship ticket in the state.
However, his boss, Governor Babangida Aliyu, did not back his candidacy.
Aliyu threw his weight behind Ahmed Nasko, who eventually emerged the candidate of the PDP for the February 28, 2015 general election.
