this exceptional Nigerian will make the stomach of anyone who truly knows him

integrity. It therefore appalls me when people whose only credentials are that
the Economic and Financial Crimes, Commission (EFCC) has stopped chasing them
around because they know how to double speak now have the audacity and
effrontery to question the character of a man like General Buhari.<o:p></o:p><br />

General Buhari is an exceptional Nigerian and an incident which I want to share
here with Nigerians gave me that conviction a long time ago and greatly

90s and in the late 90s I was encouraged to return to Nigeria by my friend
General Buhari. It also coincides with when he was Chairman of the Petroleum
Trust Fund (PTF). I used to spend most of my time in Nigeria with him and his
family and I noticed that his two grown daughters who were undergraduates at
the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, were always at home because of the unending
strikes in Nigerian universities at the time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

of my visits I got the prospectus and brochures of some educational
institutions in the United Kingdom and decided to encourage him to send these
kids to institutions in the UK, where they could school without interruption.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

it sometimes took days to find a moment alone with him, so I finally did find a
moment alone with him, and I brought up the issue of his kids always being at
home on strike and suggested his sending them to the U.K to school. I quickly
brought out the brochures and prospectus and I believed I made a very strong
case.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

and thinking the cost would not be an issue since I was speaking with the head
of one of the most powerful and richest institutions in the country at the time
(as well as a former Head of State of Nigeria), I boldly opened the cost pages
of the brochures and tried to work out the cost to him.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

General turned to me and asked me where I expected him to get that kind of
money and I could not believe the question as I am sure many Nigerians will not
believe. First, I could not believe that as PTF chairman, he would find the
school fees an issue. Afterall, he was presiding over what was unarguably the
richest public institution in the country at the time and others in his shoes
would have found a way to “afford” it from their public offices. But not
General Buhari. What he did at the time made me see him as an exceptional
Nigerian and you are all free to confirm or verify this. General Buhari sold
the only property he owned in Victoria Island at the time and it was with that
fund that he sent his kids to school.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

PTF Chairman would have done what he did and, from then on, General Muhammadu
Buhari became my hero and the epitome of integrity and honesty in public office

come out to claim a qualification he does not possess and for charlatans and
people of questionable character to call for his arrest for forgery is a great
insult to honesty itself. I know that Nigeria has become a country where
anything goes, but insulting our heroes because of politics should not be one
of them. This is just one instance, as there are several instances that I can
cite here, but time and space will not permit me. So, let’s put politics aside
and celebrate our heroes, because I do not know of any man of greater integrity
than General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB).<o:p></o:p></span></div>

denied meeting with the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Gen 
Muhammadu Buhari in London, weekend.<br />

that Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State claimed that General 
Muhammadu Buhari was not in any meeting with Tony Blair is true, rather 
the former head of state Muhammad Buhari checked into a London hospital 
for m<span class="text_exposed_show">edical checkup. It has been 
confirmed too that APC photoshoped a photo showing Tony Blair, Buhari, 
Governor Amosu of Ogun State and former Kwara State Governor, Bukola

 Tony Blair, said: “ Mr. Blair did not had any private meeting with

Tony Blair was currently returning from Sebia where he attended peace

A middle-aged man who narrowly escaped death in the hands of
angry teachers for allegedly impregnating a secondary school girl was on
Wednesday confirmed to be a Personal Assistant to the Enugu State Governor,

Vanguard gathered that the true identity of the man
(names withheld) was found in his Kia car impounded by the angry teachers. The
car was still lying at the premises of Metropolitan Girls Secondary School located
at Ogui New layout Enugu as at the time of this report along with his Permanent
Voters Card (PVC) and other documents found in the car.</div>

slumped on the ground during morning assembly on that fateful Wednesday

man defiled a girl. The girl got pregnant. The child was bleeding and rushed to

take the girl and he was arrested. The good thing is that he has been
apprehended. He should go and face the law”, he added.</div>

Lupita Nyong'o's $150,000 'Pearl' Oscars Dress has been Found in a Bathroom After the thief found out the pearls were fake!

The
 L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. confirmed that West Hollywood Detectives 
received a call from a media representative, informing detectives they 
had received a call from an anonymous caller with information in regards
 to the</div>
<a class="mce-item-anchor" href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a> stolen 
Calvin Klein dress. The caller advised detectives that it could be 
located in an abandoned bathroom on the second floor of the hotel.<br />

Apparently,
 the thief himself called TMZ on phone yesterday to tell them he had 
returned the dress, told them where to locate it but he also said the 
dress was a worthless fake! He says he took a few pearls off the dress 
and took them to the garment district in downtown L.A to see how much 
they were worth but to his unfortunate surprise, he was told the pearls 
were not real.</div>

So, he put
 the '$150,000' gown in a garment bag that was inside a trash bag and 
took it back to the hotel leaving it on a 2nd floor bathroom adjacent to
 a fitness center, before calling TMZ.</div>

 TMZ
 contacted the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. and gave them the info, they 
then went over to the hotel, retrieved the bag and found a garment bag 
with the dress inside.</div>

On
 the red carpet at the Oscar’s on Sunday, Lupita's Calvin Klein dress 
was said to be worth $150,000 because of the 6,000 expensive hand 
beaded  pearls on it which probably inspired the thief to grab it at the
 slightest opportunity but to his horror, was told the pearls were fake 
as he was about pawning it for some quick cash.</div>

It has also enacted an Income Tax regime for people of the zone, especially those it says are under its control.Mr. Charles Igbokwe, the MASSOB’s Information Coordinator for Onitsha, who spoke for the organisation’s leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, disclosed that the new Biafran vehicles, drivers’ licence and new currency were launched on Thursday in Owerri, the Imo State capital in the eastern part of Nigeria.</div>

According to the organisation, the idea behind these developments was to further unify the people of the zone, work for peace and progress for the development of the zone. Moreover, Igbokwe said it was the right of every motorist, tricycle and motorcycle riders from the zone to get the vehicle licences and update them where the need arises.<br /><br />“We also use the period of the registration exercise to call on all the traditional rulers and president generals of town unions to help educate their people on the need to get abreast with the new Biafran currency and other programmes,” he said adding that the Biafran currency is already in circulation in the zone and that it would soon be available to banks in the area.</div>
