In a just concluded interview on Africa Independent Television (AIT), President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that the abducted chibok girl are alive. President Goodluck Jonathan said that the Boko Haram insurgents have not killed the over 200 abducted schoolgirls of Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State. Featuring on an AIT programme tagged Kakaaki , the president said:
"The good story is that theyÂ?ve not been killed". He continued: "They are still alive because when terrorists kill they display. But we can't just move in with artilleries and clear the place because they may use them as shields, so we are working with the global best practices"
