The traditional ruler who started the killings in South Africa has refused to apologize for his statements saying it is his duty to make such statements when it concerns his people.
He stated that he is confused why all fingers would be pointed at him when in reality he was just quoting from the Oba of Lagos, a prominent traditional ruler in Nigeria that foreigners must comply or leave South Africa.
The Oba of Lagos had during the elections in Nigeria stated that foreigners must vote for APC or be thrown into the Lagoon.
So far 10 Nigerian and other African children ranging from 1 to 13 years old have been killed in the Xenophobic attacked triggered by the traditional rulers statements. One child was burned alive and more than 50 foreign adults have been killed.
