Condoms
Bet you didn’t know South Africa is no longer considered the country with the highest HIV/AIDS cases in the world.
India has one of the highest rates of HIV in the world, so one would think the population would be diligent about safe sex.
However, it seems that condom usage is part of the problem, As it turns out, the average Indian man’s penis is just too small for international-standard condoms – so the disease keeps spreading like wildfire.
Via Mirror UK:
Condoms made to international sizes are too big for a majority of Indian men, a survey has found.
A two-year study by the Indian Council of Medical Research found that more than half of the Indian men measured had penises that were shorter than international standards for condoms.
Now there are calls for condoms of mixed sizes to be made more readily available in a country which already has the highest number of HIV infections of any nation.
Scientists have concluded that about 60% of Indian men have penises which are between three and five centimetres shorter than international standards used in condom manufacture.
