I will only be suprised if thus were not to be Nigeria... But since it is, am not suprised... This is one country where anything can happen!
This reminds me of my father's old Suzuki jeep. He had to resort to this method of securing his jeep when the factory lock gave way. It was always embarrassing taking a ride in that car.
The roof was leaking, the grinding sound from the exhaust like that of a grinding machine, you put two wires together to honk, the arm brake was just there with no effectiveness that people could practically push the car without much effort when parked were some of the many embarrassing features of the car.
Infact, it was a jalopy. Walahi, e no go beta for poverty! But all that is history now, thank God.
