10. Jonathan Biabiany

Biabiany is currently a free agent after he terminated his contract with Parma in mutual consent earlier this month on 11 April.

But since 2007 he is owning Serie A defenders with amazing speed , he was the fastest player on FIFA Video games three years in a row .

9. Gabriel Agbonlahor

A bit overrated player , but the Aston Villa striker with his top speed remains as one of the fastest Premier League players .

8. DeAndre Yedlin

He is a lightning fast fullback to keep up with the fleet-footed wingers of modern football.

Yedlin played only 11 minutes in Premier League for Tottenham , but now he plays in MLS .

He reached his top speed this season in US Open Cup final playing for Philadelphia Union

7. Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo certainly got a few yards over most players he faces on the pitch. In fact, he supposedly ran 96 metres in 10 seconds when he stormed down the pitch to join a counter attack against Atletico Madrid in December 2012.

6. Ryo Miyaichi

Since joining Arsenal in 2011, the 22-year-old has been loaned out to no less than four clubs and struggled to impress with anything beside raw speed.
When he was playing for Arsenal he matched Theo Walcott's top speed in training . Very promising talent

5. Gareth Bale

According to Wales Online the Real Madrid winger sprinted 65m in 7.2 seconds to score the winner against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.

Even Usain Bolt said the speed Bale demonstrated proves he’s “the fastest footballer in the world at the moment.”
He’s certainly up there, but he doesn’t top this list.

4. Theo Walcott

Theo Walcott might be higher up this list if not for the serious knee injury he suffered prior to the 2014 World Cup.

In 2009, he reportedly broke Thierry Henry’s 40m dash record of 4.82 seconds with a 4.42 seconds effort becoming the fastest Arsenal player ever , but this year Hector Bellerin broke his record too .3. Hector Bellerin

Bellerin might be only 20-years-old and experiencing his first season in the Arsenal first team, but he is already making a name for himself as one of the quickest players in the world.

Theo Walcott revealed that Bellerin broke his 40m dash club record of 4.42 seconds by one-hundredth of a second during time trials last summer.

2. Marvell Wynne

Maybe you don't recognise him but his unbelievable speed is something he has in abundance. He clocked an astonishing 10.39 seconds over a 100m dash this season playing in MLS .

It’s safe to say very few players in the MLS would rate their chances latching onto a through ball with Wynne in pursuit.

1. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang

Professional footballers don’t come much quicker than the Pierre Emerick - Aubameyang . It’s no wonder he is very, very rarely beaten to the ball – he’s said to have clocked a staggering 3.7 seconds over 30m in training .

The Gabon international also boasts the long-striding style that burns markers over long distances, too. Aubameyang is the complete football speedster.
