Happened today in Lagos was the traditional marriage of Temitope Fani-Kayode, the daughter of Femi Fani-Kayode and Yemisi Wada; and Jaiye, the son of Bashorun J.K. Randle.

Last week, Femi Fani-Kayode disclosed that he wouldn’t attend his daughter’s wedding rites. He didn’t attend the wedding introduction which held on 22nd January 2015 at Temitope’s stepfather’s home in Ikoyi.



With the absence of Fani-Kayode, Dahiru Wada took the place of the bride’s father. Dahiru Wada is married to Yemisi, Femi Fani-Kayode’s ex-wife. Dahiru is the son of Inua Wada, a one-time minister in the First Republic. Also in attendance at the ceremony are Otunba Adekunle Ojora and wife Ojuolape, Otunba Subomi Balogun and wife Abimbola, Dame Abimbola Fashola, Chief (Mrs) Nike Akande, Mrs. Yemi Ransome-Kuti, and other eminent Nigerians.

In a related development, not many know that FFK as he is called by friends and foes is a serial divorcee and so far, three women had cohabited with him including the mother of the bride that got married today which produced kids in the process
