Jose Mourinho was pictured on the red carpet with his teenage daughter Matilde at the GQ Men of the Year Awards ceremony

52-year-old Chelsea manager looked suitably surly as he attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards with his teenage daughter Matilde at London's Royal Opera House on Tuesday night.

The self-dubbed 'Special One' was joined at the glitzy event by a host of household sporting names including British Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton, Ashes hero Stuart Broad and former England legend-turned Match of the Day presenter, Gary Lineker.

Matilde, who was born in 1996 to Mourinho's wife, Matilde Faria, is a long-term friend of One Direction singer Niall Horan, who is an avid football fan, and she is sure to be delighted at being her famous father's 'plus one' for the ceremony.
