A farmer simply identified as Terfa escaped been lynched by angry mob in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State, for allegedly inserting iron rod and pepper into his wife’s private part after suspecting her of infidelity.

Trouble started on the fateful day when Terfa's junior wife, who had gone to a market came back late, and as a result, he was infuriated and accused her infidelity.

The woman, it was gathered, attempted to defend herself by pleading that the vehicle she boarded broke down, but her husband refused to listen to her pleas.

Terfa was said to have pounced on her younger wife, tied her up and inserted an iron rod and pepper in her private part. Terra’s first wife however ran out to alert the village head, who sent people to rescue the woman, who was bleeding profusely.

Reports said she was taken to a nearby clinic. It took the timely intervention of the village head to save Terfa from been lynched by the angry mob.
