Making History! Korede Bello Becomes 1st Nigerian Police Youth Ambassador

One of the most recognized youngsters in the Nigerian music industry, Korede Bello has added another feather to his already budding cap.

Mavin Records singer Korede Bello is ending the year 2015 on a high note.

The 19-year-old Mavin Records singer and songwriter has been honoured by the Nigerian Police Force as a police youth ambassador.

The new honour makes him the first ever Nigerian musician to hold the position. The ‘Godwin‘ singer who is currently a Glo ambassador was presented with the plaque at an event in Abuja on December 2, 2015.

The excited ‘Godwin’ crooner took to his instagram page to announce the latest development by saying: ”THIS IS MEGA!!! The Nigerian Police Force has just confered on me the honour of being the 1st ever Nigerian Police Youth Ambassador; I am extremely humbled privileged to carry this GREAT responsibility. This initiative by Inspector General of Police -IGP Solomon E. Arase, is historic. This bridges the gap between the Police and the people ( the Youths ) . Security/Safety is OUR collective responsibility.”

At the event was the police boss himslf, IGP Solomon Arase, Police public relations officer, AC Olabisi Kolawole, DIG John Domas, popular comedian Chief Chika Okpala popularly known as Zebrudaya alias 4:30 and many more.
