It was serious laughter at the premises of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), of the Lagos State Police Command when an armed robbery suspect, Adekanmi Najim, confessed that he and his gang once snatched a bag from a woman only to discover the bag contained human faeces and dirty female pants.

The 25-year-old suspect who was arrested by the SARS men on January 28, 2015 at Oshodi, said the operation that landed them in the police net was not worth the trouble at all.

Hear him:

"In our last operation before we were arrested, we snatched a woman's bag.

We thought the bag was filled with money and other valuables, so we decided to close early that day and went home to share our loot.

We were shocked to find baby faeces and the woman's pants inside the bag.

We've snatched three motorcycles at Sango-Ota, Ogun State. We have also snatched bags and other valuable goods from people.

We usually sell the motorcycles to a man called Baba Ijora at Mushin.

We also have another buyer in Cotonou, Republic of Benin. We sold the first motorcycle to a man in Cotonou at the rate of N35,000 while the second and third were sold to Baba Ijora at the rate of N30,000 and N40, 000."
