A pastor was arrested on a charge of ra.pe after he was caught allegedly having se.x with a teenage girl in Akure, Ondo State capital The TRENT reports.
The 55-year-old man identified as Jacob Ojomo, was arrested by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) operatives after the 15-year-old girl’s mother caught him in the act.
Investigation revealed that the ugly incident became open by the woman who had been following the suspect, fearing that the pastor was having an illicit relationship with the child.
Upon interrogation, Ojomo admitted to having sex with the girl and doctors confirmed that the girl’s pri.vate part had been penetrated several times.
