A month-old baby has been found in the bush with her lips sealed with super glue.
According to Modern Ghana, the baby girl was wrapped in a cloth and dumped in the bush near the Serwah Kese Senior High School at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.
The baby was discovered by some residents around the school at about 6:20am Sunday, January 10 with her mouth sealed with super glue.
An employee from the Duayaw Nkwanta Department of Social Welfare took the baby to the St Johns of God hospital in Duayaw Nkwanta for treatment.
Attempts are continuing to identify the mother of the baby.
Meanwhile, a barren couple, Mr and Mrs Ayogbile alongside a trado- medical practitioner have landed in the police net over the sale of a baby in Ipaja, Lagos state. The trado-medical practitioner, Onolaja Olawale, allegedly sold the two-week, four-day-old baby to the couple, who have been barren for about six years, for N136,000, after informing them that the mother was dead.
But co-tenants of the Ayogbiles, who had never seen the wife pregnant, were reported to have contacted the police when they saw her with the infant.
